John, you did a great job on this one buddy. It’s an honor to do this podcast with you, bro.

Guys, another good show. I am going to start my own soon and would appreciate any advice, do’s and don’ts that you can offer. Zach, I am glad to know that I am not alone in not needing certain things in the biblical account to have actually happened the way that they are recorded. The truth in the meaning of the story is enough for me.

Great show… I think that this is an important subject, but maybe (as John said) more for Christians than for unbelievers. The fact that the bible and truth and faith can exist on separate “planes” yet still coexist in complete unison is a good lesson.

hey guys - i just realized that my iPod was carrying around your newest episode for a while. Once again, great show. I definitely find myself sitting in between you guys in my perspective of the Bible. I really see no reason to disagree with virtually all of the Old Testament’s accounts of that period of time as historical fact, but that’s mostly because I was raised conservatively Pentacostal. However, i totally agree with Zach in that it wouldn’t really change the lessons that i glean from them if God Himself told me that they were all allegory and not straight history. in a way, we read them that way anyway

    Mike,
Hopefully we’ll be able to get one out next week. I’ve been busy with a class and now a conference this week.

    Thanks for missing us.
